REACH OUT, and CONNECT

They say that you learn a lot by example. A memory I have growing up is watching my mom writing out greeting cards, in her cursive handwriting, for special occasions in people's lives. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or holiday, and on top of that, she even chose to witness the regular days and moments in between. It was those days you came home to find a card in the mail, for no reason, that made everything seem ok. It has left an impression on me, to be a witness and a recipient of these cards. She made me realize early on to be a witness to others and the small details of life. From this memory, carrying on the tradition, I created the Flaneur Way cards. Cards that capture the simple moments that make up a journey, witnessed on flaneur wanders in urban and rural landscapes, locally and abroad. These cards are REMINDERS of moments to reflect, connect, and share with others or keep for yourself. It doesn’t take much to make someone’s day by sending them a message. Let’s stay connected, not just for a reason, a season, or a holiday, or an occasion but each day all year long.
